Applied Research Strategy + Design

👋 Hi, I’m Bex

Hi, I’m a qualitative researcher and community builder, passionate about building better structures for support and well-being. With a background in anthropology and a super-charged curiosity, I spent over a decade digging into how knowledge and stories influence meaningful change. Whether it’s working on civic design, improving healthcare systems, or home products, I use mixed methods for delivering key insights in interaction design.

I completed my Master of Science in Human-Centered Design and Engineering at the The University of Washington, where I completed UX courses such as usability studies, quantitative methods, and prototyping. Now, as a design researcher and strategist, I collaborate with tech teams through a range of research processes to create meaningful products and services.

Speaking truth to power

“You do not belong to you. You belong to the universe. Make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.”

—R. Buckminster Fuller
